If you
are repacking filters you will need quality felt to stop any dust
particles from passing through to cylinders being filled.
Airdive supplies pre-cut felt pads in a variety of sizes to
fit a number of filter cartridge assemblies. Alternatively
felt sheet can be purchased and cut to size for custom
applications.
When
using repackable cartridges, all filter materials must be firmly
compacted so that they will not move around in the cartridge and
break up during use. Only filter cartridges that have been designed
for repacking should be repacked.
Please
note that some manufacturers do not recommend repacking of filter
cartridges.
As a
general precaution always make sure that pads fit securely into the
filter cartridge housing. There should be no gaps between the edge
of the pads and the filter cartridge internal wall. Leakage
of filter materials could occur if there is not a secure
fit.
Filter
materials should be repacked in such a way that there is no
movement of the filter chemicals within the cartridge.
Lightly tapping the cartridge housing and then tamping down
the pad on the chemical should settle the filter chemicals so that
they will not dislodge during use which could possibly contaminate
the air system. Do not crush the chemicals! Take
careful note of the component order within the
cartridge.

pre-cut felt is a 66mm
(nominal) diameter felt pad to fit P41 and P61 filter towers as
used on a number of Bauer and Poseidon compressors. The pad
is 9.5mm in thickness and can be purchased as a single item, or in
bulk. A discount applies for quantity purchases.

This
felt pad measures 42mm in diameter and can be used in a number of
Bauer and Poseidon filter cartridges including Poseidon W 6-961 and
W 5-9085 filter cartridges.
This pad
is also used in Airdive's 273700C and 273720C repackable cartridges
which can be used as alternatives for the W-6961 and W5-9085
cartridges.
273700C
cartridges are also used in Airdive's 273500 low pressure filter
for SSBA use.

This
60mm pad has been supplied for SSBA use in the low pressure filter
systems used on a number of compressor units. Sold as a
