HARRIS®  REGULATORS

Airdive can now supply Harris® dual stage 300 Bar inlet regulators for direct attachment to high pressure cylinders for surface supply applications.  With adjustable low pressure outlet pressure to 1000 KPA this unit comes complete with indicator safety blow out back gauges indicating both inlet and outlet pressures. 19 CUFT /13CUFT  BAILOUT

CYLINDERS

We have had repeated requests to supply emergency bailout cylinders. Airdive can now supply 19 CuFt and 13 CuFt aluminium cylinders painted in safety yellow.  These cylinders are made of 6061 aluminium alloy by Catalina Cylinders and come complete with a yoke/225 Din valve.  As a test station we can put the cylinders into service on the day of purchase so that you will get a full 12 months use from the cylinder before it is due for retest.  These cylinders have a fill pressure of 20.4 MPa.

Properly cared for, these aluminium cylinders will give years of trouble free service and give a valuable back up air supply in an emergency.

Manifold Distribution Block

A new product  for 2006 is the Airdive manifold distribution block.  This block is made of brass and is chrome plated for durability.  It comprises  4 X 1/4 BSPT female ports and 2 X 3/8 UNF female ports.  All ports are continuously ported but special porting could be arranged for quantity orders.  Block dimensions are as follows: 52mm Wide X  52mm Long X 28mm Deep.

 The block can be belt mounted via a backing plate, but includes multiple back mounted mounting holes allowing its use in a number of applications     ( see bailout application below).  One way valves, Tema couplings and Airdive specialty adaptors means great flexibility of choice in final configuration.

ECO MANIFOLD

Just manufactured to compliment our range of low pressure products is this economical low pressure manifold.  Designed to mount to 50mm webbing the manifold is available in 1/4 BSPT female to 1/4 BSPT female or 1/4 BSPT female to 3/8 UNF female threads.  Manufactured from high strength brass which is then nickle and chrome plated these assemblies will enable a variety of hose attachment combinations.

PONY CYLINDER GAUGES - 273PBGAUGE

Recently added to the diving equipment range is the low profile pony cylinder gauge.  With a maximum gauge pressure of 400 Bar this gauge screws into the 7/16 high pressure port of the first stage and eliminates bulky hoses where streamlining is required.

LOW PRESSURE PORT OVER PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE - 273OPRELIEF

Useful in a variety of applications this low profile over pressure relief valve can be fitted directly to the 3/8 UNF low pressure port of first stage regulators or into manifold blocks for added safety margin.  Fitting a safety valve such as this is essential when an upstream demand valve is being utilised in combination with a SCUBA regulator first stage in a bailout cylinder set up.  This protects the airlines and second stage against over pressurization in the case of a first stage high pressure leak or failure.

Oxygen Thread Tape        

Airdive now stocks oxygen specific thread tape for special applications where oxygen compatibility is required.  Sold per roll.

Oxygen Service Lubricant

An oxygen service lubricant is now available which is suitable for high and low temperature applications.  The CL5000250G lubricant is suitable for use in dry oxygen and other gas environments and is ideal on SCUBA regulators, valves and associated equipment such as "O" rings and gaskets.  The lubricant is modeled on MIL-S- 8660 specification and will not affect natural or synthetic rubber seals.  It is ideal as an anti-seize agent for nuts, plugs and other items associated with diving equipment.

Available in a 250 gram container this item provides a very economical alternative to other lubricants available.

Hookah Inlet Filters / Dust Caps

To help prolong the life of your SSBA compressor, Airdive can supply inlet filter / dust caps to stop the ingress of dust into low pressure hookah compressors.   Even small particles of grit taken into compressors can lodge under valve plates and reduce efficiency.  In worst case scenarios, valves and plated can be damaged leading to inconvenient and sometimes costly repairs.  By utilizing this inexpensive inlet filter / dust cap, valve life will be extended and the compressor will be kept running more efficiently .  Inlet to filter 25 mm -  for 25mm internal diameter hosing.

Combine the dust cap with our high temperature inlet hose and inlet block.  By fitting the hose assembly to the compressor inlet with a length of around 2.89 metres of high temperature hose, the inlet is moved away from the source of the exhaust outlet on petrol driven compressors.  A major safety consideration when diving on SSBA.   Exhaust fumes can kill. Note also that only high temperature hosing should be utilized on compressor inlets as the temperatures can exceed 160 degrees Celsius.

The inlet block, comprising 273171 block and 273172 barb, will accept 25 mm internal bore hose.  The block will fit a range of compressor block inlets including ABAC and generic blocks.  Bolt holes are at 60mm centres and drilled to accept 8mm X 1.25 P X 50 mm long bolts.  Generally, if inlet mounting bolts are 8mm X 1.25P, then this block will fit.

Oxygen / Safety Pattern Gauges - 400 Bar

Now available, 400 Bar maximum working pressure safety pattern gauges ready for Oxygen service.  These gauges are 63mm, natural finish stainless steel case with 1/4 BSPP male bottom entry complete with flow restrictor, laminated safety glass, solid baffle wall and blow out relief back.   Suitable for all high pressure applications these gauges comply with Australian Standards.

TEMA® COUPLING DUST CAPS

Airdive now stocks Tema coupling dust caps which will help keep grit and moisture out of the fittings when not in use.  They are inexpensive and are fitted easily to most hose assemblies.  Call for details.
